CAKE CARE

Transport
Pick your cake box up from the bottom and not the sides. Transport your cake on a flat surface (avoid car seats and laps) in a cool/air-conditioned car.

Storage and serving
Take your cake out of your cool place/fridge an hour to an hour and a half prior to serving so that your cake can come to room temperature. No one likes cold cake! Make sure you keep it away from any form of heat or direct sunlight.
Leftover cake freezes really well too, just FYI!

Cutting your cake
Remove any decorations or dowels that may have been used to support your cake (larger or tiered cakes only).
Cut your cake into a grid instead of classic triangles for maximum portons.
